I am using MC9 and I have issues with MC9. I got access to MC9 few days ago and everything is working perfectly. Bun unfortunately this morning when I try to open a circuit the MC9 is completely freezing and I cannot do anything. The only way to close it down is to use task manager to kill the process. Are you familiar with this issue? Can I do something to get MC9 up and running?

If you attempt to launch the software in an operating system higher than Windows XP, then you will have problems. The issue can be caused by the compatibility of the application with the operating system or because of file corruption. I tend to believe that the problem in this case is the compatibility mode. The company released version 11 of the software and it's available as a trial mode. Install that version from the website and load the file. If it works, then a new upgrade is recommended.

Unfortunately Micro - Cap 9 is no longer available for download. It was recently updated to Micro - Cap 11. Taking into consideration the information that are provided on developer page, the demo version of Micro-Cap has no time limit of using. In its demo version this application comes with some restrictions like: equation count (nodes+sources+inductors) < 75, component count < 50 components (all layers), anywhere from 0 to 300% slower than the professional, limited component library, no Model program, and some of the advanced features are not available. Also, if you want to try the full version with all features available you can buy it directly from developer page, and if you are not satisfied with the functionality of this product in 30 days, the company will give your money back.

Micro Cap evaluation 11 stops working every few minutes, it installed on a Lenovo Thinkpad under Windows 7 OS. A pop up message indicates that the application will stop and Windows is searching for a solution. What should I do?

If the program stops all of a sudden while you are working with it, it means that there is an error with the software itself. You could try to re-install it or obtain a new version from its official website. Remove the application completely, then right click the setup package and select Run as Administrator. This is a necessary step for application in Windows 7 to ensure a good functionality.
